1. About this policy
Nectra Technologies Limited (“Nectra”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, nectra.co.uk. This Cookie Policy explains what they are, which ones we use, why, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
We use cookies in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR, each as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site’s owner. “Similar technologies” include pixels, tags and local storage, which work in comparable ways. In this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by other organisations whose services we use, such as analytics providers. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
3. How we use cookies and your consent
We use cookies to make our website function, to understand how visitors use it so we can improve it, to remember your preferences, and — where applicable — to support our marketing.
Your consent. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent because the site cannot work properly without them. For all other (non-essential) cookies, we set them only with your consent, which you give through our cookie banner when you first visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7). Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies already used while consent was in place.

Illustrative examples. Specific cookies you may see include those set by your website platform (e.g. Webflow) for core functionality, and analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, names beginning “_ga”) where analytics is enabled. Replace these with the actual cookies identified by your scan.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our site, such as analytics providers. These third parties are responsible for their own use of cookies, and we recommend reviewing their privacy and cookie notices. Where a third-party cookie is non-essential, we set it only with your consent.
6. The Sopro Web Plugin (if installed)
This section applies only if you operate the Sopro Web Plugin on your website. If you do not, please remove this section.
We work with our marketing partner Prospect Global Ltd (trading as Sopro) to carry out business-to-business outreach. If the Sopro Web Plugin is active on our website, it places cookies on your device to enable visitor recognition and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns — for example, to understand when a visit follows an outreach message sent on our behalf. These are non-essential cookies and are set only with your consent.
Sopro is registered with the ICO under registration ZA346877. You can view Sopro’s privacy policy at sopro.io, and contact their Data Protection Officer at dpo@sopro.io. You can withdraw consent for these cookies at any time using the controls in section 7.
7. Managing and withdrawing your consent
You can manage non-essential cookies in two ways:
• Our cookie banner / preferences. Use the cookie settings on our website to accept or reject categories of non-essential cookies and to change your choices at any time.
• Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. Guidance is usually found in your browser’s help section.

8. Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, so our site does not currently respond to them. You can still control cookies using the methods in section 7.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this document and in the footer.
