The Founder
12+ Years of Building Software That Works.
Harri started as an apprentice software developer over 12 years ago. Sat next to a senior dev, watching him work a command line — that was the moment he knew this was the world he needed to be in. He worked his way up from apprentice to junior developer, then took on the company's entire systems and software stack when the senior dev left. That's where he really learned — thrown in the deep end with no safety net.
Discovering open source and the LAMP stack changed everything. Harri ended up rebuilding entire systems from scratch — replacing expensive proprietary stacks with lean, custom-built solutions. This is where his philosophy of building things properly and efficiently was forged.
Eventually, he went out on his own. Built websites from scratch, landed his first £2k client, and felt a sense of achievement he'd never experienced before. That's when he realised he loved building businesses as much as building software. Along the way he's built and sold software products (some succeeded, some were expensive lessons that taught more than any success could), co-founded a digital agency that he ran for 5 years, and worked across industries from e-commerce to music marketing.
Nectra is the culmination of all of that. 12+ years of experience, lessons learned the hard way, and a clear focus on what he does best — building software and web platforms that actually work.
